Throughout the formation of our brand, we have collaborated with responsible suppliers to ensure a conscious and sustainable future. We pledge to be persistent and strive in making improvements; so our growth doesn't come at the cost of the well being of our planet.
Designs at Snug & Story are mindfully created to be durable, versatile and timeless. Focusing on quality over quantity, we produce our designs in small batches to minimise excess; contributing to slow fashion. We source natural fabrics that are biodegradable or renewable contributing to the mitigation of environmental impact. Our fabrics and trims are 100% plastic free.
The prints developed at Snug & Story are what help bring our design stories to life. Drawing inspiration from the essence of each chapter of the brand, all our prints are hand-drawn; then printed onto our fabric. The quantity of print and dye required for each design is carefully calculated to produce only what is needed for the collection; this allows us to limit wastage. We use digital printing technique to print on all our garments as it reduces emission and wastage making it the most efficient and sustainable route.
In our efforts to be an eco-conscious brand; we at Snug & Story, went the extra mile in making our practices environment friendly by opting for responsibly sourced material for our packaging that is 100% biodegradable, recycled and recyclable.
Our packaging boxes, hangtags, card inserts and envelopes are made from 100% recycled and FSC certified paper ensuring that it has been derived from well preserved forests. Each purchase comes wrapped in a recycled, biodegradable tissue paper. Our brand logo stickers are biodegradable and made from recycled post-consumer waste; with a starch based adhesive and can be further recycled.
